Ousted Sudanese Dictator Omar al-Bashir Convicted Of Corruption
A court in Sudan has convicted Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir of corruption and sentenced him for two years in correctional facility. He served as the seventh President of Sudan from 1989 to 2019, when he was deposed in a military coup d’état. He was incarcerated and put on trial for multiple corruption charges.
