Ighalo \Not Worth £20m – Neville Advises Manchester United
Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, has advised the club not to spend £20m on Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo.
The former Super Eagles striker, who is on loan from Chinese football club, Shanghai Shenhua, has been in good form, since joining the Red Devils in the January transfer window.
Ighalo has scored four goals for Manchester United in eight appearances in all competitions.
His good form has prompted the English club to consider him for a permanent deal, after the his loan deal expires in June.
His parent club, Shenhua, are hoping to retain him, offering a contract renewal worth £400,000 per week for the Nigerian striker.
However, they’re willing to release Ighalo, if Man Utd can pay £20m for a permanent move.
The Nigerian striker has already said he’s interested in staying at Old Trafford.
But in an Instagram Live interview, Neville, advised United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, against spending that amount on Ighalo.
According to Neville, the ex-Watford striker is not worth the £20m his Chinese club are asking for him.
