Borno State Governor Appoints Igbo And Yoruba Indigenes As Special Advisers
Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, the incumbent Governor of Borno State, has appointed a Yoruba man, Yusuf Alao from Oyo state and an Igbo man, Kesta Ogualili from Anambra State as his cabinet’s special advisers.
According to Pro. Zulum, both appointees who are distinguished professionals, have lived in the Northeast state for several years and have been active in their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC), and hence deserve to be part of his government.
While representing the governor at the swearing-in ceremony of the twenty six (26) advisers, the state’s Deputy Governor, Umar Kadafur, conducted oaths of office and allegiance on the advisers.
The other advisers swore in were Sheikh Modu Mustapha, Ahmed Zarma Mustapha Sandabe, Gadau Ngurno, Ali Damasak, Mustapha Bulu, Hussaini Gambo, Bukar Ardoram, Bukar Konduga, Umoru Gaya, Tukur Mshelia, Tijjani Modu, Inna Galadima, Zarah Bukar, Mohammed Maulud, Bole Kachallah, Ali Zangeri, Tukur Ibrahim, Tijjani Kukawa, Abba Gubio, Malam Gana Badu, Barr. Bashir Maidugu, and Alhaji Adamu Chibok Abdulrahman Abdulkarim,.
