Many Stranded As Anambra Govt. Mounts Giant Gate At Its Section Of Niger Bridge
The Anambra State Government has shutdown the state’s entrance of the Niger Bridge by erecting a giant gate at the spot.
The move has reportedly left many interstate travellers stranded, as seen in a viral video.
It is speculated that the state government decided to stop violators of the interstate travel ban, occasioned by coronavirus pandemic.
Many people who live in Asaba, the capital of Delta State, actually work in Onitsha, the commercial capital of Anambra State, and vice versa. Now this group of people are caught in the middle.
