Coronavirus: NCDC Warns Nigerians Against Sharing Fake News
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has warned Nigerians to stop spreading fake news on social media platforms and other sources. It went on to say that the intention of people who share Coronavirus fake news is to spread misinformation, in order to cause others to fear and panic.
The NCDC said on Monday, March 23rd, 2020 via a tweet:

These messages are developed with the intent to cause fear & panic
