The inhabitants of the popular Takwa Bay in Lagos have accused the Federal Government and the Nigerian Army of driving them out of their homes.

They also allege that the government did not make any arrangement for the displaced dwellers to resettle elsewhere, as their houses are reportedly being demolished.

One wrote:

Please there’s a secret mission ongoing in Tarkwa Bay Island by the Federal Government and Nigerian Army displacing dwellers from their homes and shooting sporadically tpo threaten whoever refuses to leave. They are demolishing their homes and forcing people out. Whoever tries to take pictures or videos are being dealt with. Kindly help us trend this. The world needs to know, please.
