Trailer Crushes Three, Injures Seven In Abuja
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said three persons were killed, while seven others were injured by a trailer along Gwagwalada-Kwali Road in Abuja on Saturday, March 14th, 2020.
The FRSC’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Bisi Kazeem, said the accident happened at about 08:50 am at Wazobia Park.
He said,
About 08:50 a.m, a trailer fully loaded with cows had lost control at Gwagwalada road while heading to Kwali.
Our officers arrived five minutes after the crash and immediately swung into action to ensure those involved were rescued.
This situation caused a fatal accident involving 10 persons; eight male adults and two female adults, while seven male adults were injured, two female adults and one male adult were confirmed dead.
According to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Kazeem disclosed that the agency took the people injured in the accident to Abuja University Teaching Hospital, adding that they were making efforts to retrieve the trapped victims.
