#EndSARS: UK Tells FG To Respect Rights Of Protesters
The United Kingdom has told the Federal Government of Nigeria to respect the rights of protesting Nigerians amid the ongoing #EndSARS protests.
British igh Commissioner to Nigeria, Catriona Laing, who commended the Federal Government’s decision to disband the special anti-robbery squad (SARS), stated that the IGP’s commitment to ensure accountability for human rights violations is essential to restoring public confidence.
She asked the Federal Government to respect the rights of protesters while also urging them to remain peaceful during the protests.
