Fake Medical Doctor Arrested Over Death Of 3-Year-Old Girl In Nasarawa State
An alleged fake doctor identified as Mudassir Mohammed Idris has been arrested by police operatives in Nasarawa State for being responsible for the death of a three-year-old girl. He has reportedly been in the business for two (2) years before he ran out of luck, following the death of a 3-year-old girl, Hauwa due to a blood transfusion at his facility.
Speaking to newsmen, NSCDC Commandant Mahmoud Gidado Fari said that police arrested the suspect, in response to a complaint the late girl’s father made at the police station.
We have arrested the fake medical doctor. We are charging him to court for culpable homicide because he illegally administered blood on an innocent girl of three years old which resulted in her sudden death.
Mudassir pleaded for forgiveness on the ground that he had, prior to Hauwa’s death, successfully treated other patients. During police interrogation, he said he was a student of the College of Health Technology, Gboko in Benue State.
Flavision also learnt that the suspect also operated an unregistered drug store and had been practicing medicine for more than two (2) years without a medical certificate.
