Nigerian comedienne, Wofai Fada has taken to Instagram to decry the rising rate of “irritating” begging on social media platforms.

With the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown, increasing number of people have started running out of essential needs and have taken to social media to beg for money from the celebrities two they think can give.

Fada, in a recent video stated that the rate at which several individuals had peddled their act was becoming very annoying and irritating.

Recall that activist, Reno Omokri, recently called such social media beggars “e-almajiri”, adding that they reply to your posts by simply dropping their bank account details.
