The Lagos State Police Command has on Monday, April 6th, 2020 arraigned actress, Funke Akindele, and her husband, JJC Skillz, before a court for violating the Federal Government’s lockdown order in Lagos.

In a video of the actress being led away from a vehicle to the courtroom, our correspondents observed that social distancing rules were equally defied. There were literally several people within the court premises, and at the staircase, as police officers led Akindele into the courtroom. One man wearing a black suit had his left hand over the actress’ shoulder.

Even the police officers taking Akindele to the courtroom did not observe the NCDC social distancing guidelines. It was ironic that the police arrested the actress for not observing social distancing, and yet, they violated it themselves in broad day light in court.
