Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 138 New Cases In Nigeria; 55 In Plateau, 15 In Lagos, 11 In Ebonyi, Others

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and thirty eight (138) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 138 coronavirus cases in the country, 55 in Plateau, 15 in Lagos, 11 in Ebonyi, 11 in Oyo, 8 in Abia, 7 in Anambra, 7 in the FCT, 7 in Rivers, 6 in Kaduna, 5 in Ondo, 3 in Kwara, 1 in Bauchi, 1 in Benue and 1 in Edo.
As of Sunday, August 30th, 2020 there are 53,865 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 41,513 patients have been discharged, with 1,013 deaths.
