Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 136 New Cases In Nigeria; 71 In Lagos, 23 In Rivers, 12 In Plateau, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and thirty six (136) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 136 coronavirus cases in the country, 71 were recorded in Lagos, 23 in Rivers, 12 in Plateau, 6 in Adamawa, 6 in Oyo, 5 in Kaduna, 3 in Abia, 3 in the FCT, 2 in Katsina, 2 in Kwara, 1 in Bauchi, 1 in Borno and 1 in Edo.
As of Monday, September 28th, 2020 there are 58,460 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 49,895 patients have been discharged, with 1,111 deaths.
