Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 160 New Cases In Nigeria; 44 In Plateau, 27 In Lagos, 18 In Katsina, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and sixty (160) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 160 coronavirus cases in the country, 44 in Plateau, 27 in Lagos, 18 in Katsina,15 in Edo, 14 in the FCT, 10 in Ondo, 9 in Oyo, 6 in Kwara, 4 in Abia, 4 in Nasarawa, 3 in Kano, 2 in Ekiti, 2 in Kaduna, 1 in Kebbi and 1 in Ogun.
As of Friday, August 28th, 2020 there are 53,477 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 41,017 patients have been discharged, with 1,011 deaths.
