Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 555 New Cases In Nigeria; 156 In Lagos, 65 In Kano, 57 In Ogun, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed five hundred and fifty five (555) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 555 coronavirus cases in the country, 156 were recorded in Lagos, 65 in Kano, 57 in Ogun, 54 in Plateau, 53 in Oyo, 43 in Benue, 30 in FCT, 18 in Ondo, 16 in Kaduna, 13 in Akwa Ibom, 13 in Gombe, 12 in Rivers, 9 in Ekiti, 8 in Osun, 3 in Cross River, 2 in Borno, 2 in Edo and 1 in Bayelsa.
As of Sunday, July 26th, there are 40,532 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 17,374 patients have been discharged, with 858 deaths.
