Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 252 New Cases In Nigeria; 50 In Plateau, 35 In Enugu, 27 In Rivers, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed two hundred and fifty two (252) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 252 coronavirus cases in the country, 50 in Plateau, 35 in Enugu, 27 in Rivers, 26 in Lagos, 18 in the FCT, 18 in Kaduna, 10 in Ekiti, 10 in Kano, 9 in Taraba, 8 in Anambra, 8 in Edo, 8 in Oyo, 7 in Delta, 6 in Ogun, 5 in Abia, 5 in Bayelsa, 1 in Ebonyi and 1 in Osun.
As of Tuesday, August 25th, 2020, there are 52,800 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 39,964 patients have been discharged, with 1,007 deaths.
