Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 229 New Cases In Nigeria; 90 In Lagos, 27 In Katsina, 26 In Imo, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed two hundred and twenty nine (229) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 229 coronavirus cases in the country, 90 were recorded in Lagos, 27 in Katsina, 26 in Imo, 23 in Kano, 14 in the FCT, 12 in Plateau, 9 in Ogun, 7 in Delta, 5 in Borno, 5 in Rivers, 4 in Oyo, 3 in Gombe, 2 in Osun, 1 in Anambra and 1 in Bayelsa.
AS of Monday, May 25th, 2020, there are 8068 confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria. So far, 2311 patients have been discharged, with 233 deaths.
