Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 87 New Cases In Nigeria; 33 in Lagos, 18 in Borno, 12 in Osun, Others

1182 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed eighty seven (87) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.

Of the latest confirmed eighty seven (87) cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), thirty three (33) cases were recorded in Lagos, eighteen (18) in Borno, twelve (12) in Osun, nine (9) in Katsina, four (4) in Kano, four (4) in Ekiti, three (3) in Edo, three (3) in Bauchi and one (1) in Imo.

As at 11:55 pm on Saturday, April 25th, 2020, there are one thousand and eighty two (1182) confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) recorded in Nigeria. Two hundred and twenty two (222) patients have been discharged, with thirty five (35) deaths.

One case who was confirmed in Lagos State, traveled to Ondo State for treatment.

Thus, the number of coronavirus cases in Lagos State is six hundred and eighty nine (689) and the number of cases in Ondo is four (4).
