Coronavirus: Nigeria Confirms Five New Cases
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded five new cases of Coronavirus disease, otherwise known as COVID-19, in Nigeria. Two of those new cases were confirmed in Abuja, two in Lagos State and one in Rivers State.
Three of them are returning travellers to Nigeria the other two are close contacts of a confirmed coronavirus case.
The NCDC announced the latest COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, March 25th, 2020 at 11:25 pm, via a tweet on its Twitter handle, @NCDCgov:
Five new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria: 2 in FCT, 2 in Lagos & 1 in Rivers
