Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 321 New Cases In Nigeria; 98 In Lagos, 34 In FCT, 30 In Kaduna, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed three hundred and twenty one (321) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 321 coronavirus cases in the country, 98 were reported in Lagos, 34 in the FCT, 30 in Kaduna, 25 in Nasarawa, 21 in Benue, 17 in Plateau, 15 in Rivers, 11 in Adamawa, 11 in Ogun, 9 in Enugu, 8 in Edo, 7 in Delta, 7 in Ekiti, 5 in Gombe, 4 in Ebonyi, 3 in Bayelsa, 3 in Kano, 3 in Ondo, 2 in Cross River, 2 in Imo, 2 in Kebbi, 2 in Niger, 1 in Abia and 1 in Bauchi.
As of Monday, August 24th, 2020 there are 52,548 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 39,257 patients have been discharged, with 1004 deaths.
