Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 591 New Cases In Nigeria; 191 In Oyo, 168 In Lagos, 61 In FCT, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed five hundred and ninety one (591) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 591 coronavirus cases in the country, 191 were recorded in Oyo, 168 in Lagos, 61 in the FCT, 29 in Ondo, 26 in Osun, 24 in Ebonyi, 23 in Edo, 14 in Ogun, 13 in Rivers, 12 in Akwa Ibom, 10 in Kaduna, 6 in Katsina, 4 in Borno, 3 in Ekiti, 3 in Delta, 3 in Imo and 1 in Niger.
As of Friday, July 24th, 2020, there are 39,539 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 16,559 patients have been discharged, with 845 deaths.
