Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 114 New Cases; 80 In Lagos, 21 In Gombe, 5 In FCT, Others

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and fourteen (114) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) reported in Nigeria.
Of the one hundred and fourteen (114) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), eighty (80) cases were recorded in Lagos, twenty one (21) in Gombe, five (5) in FCT, two (2) in Zamfara, two (2) in Edo, one (1) in Ogun, (1) in Oyo, one (1) in Kaduna and one (1) in Sokoto.
As at 11:30 pm on Friday, April 24th, 2020, there are 1095 confirmed coronavirus cases reported in Nigeria. Two hundred and eight (208) patients have been discharged, with thirty two deaths.
Within twenty four (24) hours, the number of new COVID-19 cases increased by one hundred and fourteen (114). And the number of deaths increased by one (1).
Five (5) cases previously recorded in Lagos, are now recorded as Ogun State cases.
As at 24th April, Nigeria has confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in twenty seven (27) states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
