Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 322 New Cases In Nigeria; 130 In Lagos, 36 In Bauchi, 25 In FCT, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed three hundred and twenty two (322) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 322 coronavirus cases in the country, 130 in Lagos, 36 in Bauchi, 25 in the FCT, 17 in Edo, 14 in Bayelsa, 14 in Ogun, 14 in Oyo, 13 in Anambra, 12 in Kaduna, 11 in Ondo, 10 in Abia, 6 in Osun, 5 in Plateau, 5 in Kwara, 4 in Kano, 3 in Ebonyi, 2 in Sokoto and 1 in Borno.
As of Sunday, August 23rd, 2020 there are 52,227 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 38,945 patients have been discharged, with 1002 fatalities.
