Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 265 New Cases In Nigeria; 133 In Lagos, 34 In Oyo, 28 In Edo, Others

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed two hundred and sixty five (265) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the 265 newly-confirmed coronavirus cases in the country, 133 were recorded in Lagos, 34 in Oyo, 28 in Edo, 23 in Ogun, 22 in the FCT, 6 in Plateau, 5 in Kaduna, 3 in Borno, 3 in Niger, 2 in Kwara, 2 in Bauchi, 2 in Anambra and 2 in Enugu.
As of Saturday, May 23rd, 2020, there are 7526 confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases of in Nigeria. 2174 patients have been discharged, with 221 deaths.
