Coronavirus: Nigeria Records Two New Cases In Lagos, Ogun
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has on Tuesday, March 24th, 2020 confirmed two (2) new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nigeria. One new case was recorded in Lagos State and another case in Ogun State.
The NCDC disclosed that one of the two case is a returning traveler, while the second case had contact with a previously-confirmed case.
As at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 24th, 2020, there are a total of forty two (42) confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria, with two (2) patients discharged, and 1 death.
The NCDC said this in a tweet, via its official Twitter handle, @NCDCgov:
2 new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria. 1 is in Lagos State & 1 in Ogun
