Coronavirus: Nigeria Confirms Four New Cases
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Monday, March 23rd, 2020 confirmed four new cases of the deadly coronavirus disease in Nigeria.
According to NCDC, out of the four COVID-19 cases, three were recorded in Lagos and one case was recorded in Abuja. Two of these patients recently returned from travels abroad.
As at 11:00 pm on the Monday, March 23rd, 2020, there are forty (40) confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nigeria. Two of the patients have been discharged with one death recorded, so far.
The NCDC disclosed this COVID-19 update via a tweet on its official Twitter handle, @NCDCgov:
Four new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria. 3 are in Lagos State and 1 in FCT
Two of these cases are returning travellers
