Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 176 New Cases In Nigeria; 73 In Lagos, 50 In Plateau, 17 In FCT, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and seventy six (176) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 176 coronavirus cases in the country, 73 were recorded in Lagos, 50 in Plateau, 17 in the FCT, 8 in Rivers, 6 in Ondo, 5 in Niger, 5 in Ogun, 3 in Edo, 3 in Kaduna, 2 in Oyo, 1 in Bauchi, 1 in Bayelsa, 1 in Delta and 1 in Nasarawa.
As of Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020 there are 57,613 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 48,836 patients have been discharged, with 1,100 deaths.
