Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 340 New Cases In Nigeria; 63 In Kaduna, 51 In FCT, 38 In Plateau, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed three hundred and forty (340) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 340 coronavirus cases in the country, 63 in Kaduna, 51 in the FCT, 38 in Plateau, 33 in Lagos, 25 in Delta, 21 in Gombe, 21 in Adamawa, 20 in Edo, 17 in Katsina, 11 in Akwa Ibom, 10 in Ekiti, 9 in Rivers, 5 in Ondo, 4 in Ebonyi, 3 in Cross River, 3 in Ogun, 2 in Sokoto, 2 in Imo and 2 in Nasarawa.
As of Friday, August 21st, 2020 there are 51,304 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 37,885 patients have been discharged, with 996 deaths.
