Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 117 Cases In Nigeria; 59 In Lagos, 29 In FCT, 14 In Kano, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and seventeen (117) new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the one hundred and seventeen (117) newly-confirmed COVID-19 cases, fifty nine cases were recorded in Lagos, twenty nine (29) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), fourteen (14) in Kano, six (6) in Borno, four (4) in Katsina, three (3) in Ogun, one (1) in Rivers and one in Bauchi.
As at 11:25 pm on Tuesday, April 21st, 2020, there are seven hundred and eighty two (782) confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) reported in Nigeria.
One hundred and ninety seven (197) patients have discharged, with twenty five deaths.
Five cases that were previously reported in Lagos State have been transferred to Ogun State. Therefore, Lagos has reported four hundred and thirty (430) confirmed cases while Ogun has reported twenty (20) confirmed cases.
