Coronavirus: Nigeria Confirms Three New Cases In Lagos
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed three new cases of Coronavirus infection in Lagos State, bringing the total number of cases to thirty (30) in the country, as at 05:28 pm on Sunday, March 22nd, 2020.
According to reports, two of the latest patients just returned from abroad, while the third person had contact with a confirmed case.
Currently, there are thirty (30) confirmed cases of the COVID-19 disease, and two have been discharged with no death.
The NCDC, via its Twitter handle, @NCDCgov, tweeted in the evening of Sunday, March 22, 2020:

COVID-19 Highlights in Nigeria
- On the 22nd of March 2020, Eight new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria
- Till date, thirty (30)cases have been confirmed, two cases have been discharged and there has been no death from COVID-19 in Nigeria
- Of the new cases, Six (6) are in Lagos State and one (1) in Oyo State and one (1) in F.C.T
- A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities
