Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 97 New Cases In Nigeria; 46 In Lagos, 12 In Kwara, 11 In Rivers, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed ninety seven (97) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 97 coronavirus cases in the country, 46 were reported in Lagos, 12 in Kwara, 11 in Rivers, 4 in Adamawa, 4 in Niger, 4 in Ogun, 4 in Osun, 3 in Ekiti, 3 in Imo, 3 in Kaduna, 2 in Plateau and 1 in the FCT.
As of Sunday, September 20th, 2020 there are 57,242 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 48,569 patients have been discharged, with 1,098 deaths.
