Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 476 New Cases In Nigeria; 35 In Lagos, 44 In FCT, 41 In Kaduna, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed four hundred and seventy six (476) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 476 coronavirus cases in the country, 235 were recorded in Lagos, 44 in the FCT, 41 in Kaduna, 33 in Borno, 28 in Plateau, 13 in Abia, 13 in Edo, 12 in Rivers, 11 in Imo, 10 in Oyo, 9 in Kano, 7 in Kwara, 5 in Enugu, 5 in Katsina, 4 in Gombe, 4 in Ogun, 1 in Nasarawa and 1 in Zamfara.
As of Thursday, August 20th, 2020 there are 50,964 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 37,569 patients have been discharged, with 992 deaths.
