Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 118 New Cases In Nigeria; 51 In Lagos, 26 In Rivers, 12 In Imo, Others

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and eighteen (118) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 118 coronavirus cases in the country, 51 were recorded in Lagos, 26 in Rivers, 12 in Imo, 8 in Osun, 6 in Plateau, 5 in the FCT, 4 in Kaduna, 3 in Ogun, 2 in Edo and 1 in Niger.
As of Monday, October 19th, 2020 there are 61,558 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 56,697 patients have been discharged, with 1,125 deaths.
