Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 86 New Cases In NIgeria; 70 In Lagos, 7 In FCT, 3 In Katsina, 3 In Akwa Ibom, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday, April 19th, 2020 confirmed eighty six (86) new cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria.
Of the eighty six (86) newly-confirmed Coronavirus cases, seventy (70) were recorded in Lagos, seven (7) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), three (3) in Katsina, three (3) in Akwa Ibom, one (1) in Jigawa, one (1) in Bauchi and one (1) in Borno.
As at 11:50 pm on Sunday, April 19th, 2020, there are six hundred and twenty seven (627) confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) reported in Nigeria. one hundred and seventy (170) patients have been discharged, with twenty one (21) deaths.
One case previously reported in Kano, has been transferred to Jigawa state.
Therefore, the total number of confirmed cases in Kano is 36 as at the April 19th, 2020.
