Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 221 New Cases In Nigeria; 59 In Lagos, 46 In Abia, 22 In FCT, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed two hundred and twenty one(221) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 221 coronavirus cases in the country, 59 were recordedin Lagos, 46 in Abia, 22 in the FCT, 20 in Gombe, 17 in Plateau, 11 in Rivers, 7 in Bauchi, 6 in Benue, 6 in Ekiti, 6 in Imo, 4 in Kaduna, 4 in Kwara, 4 in Ondo, 3 in Ogun, 3 in Osun, 1 in Bayelsa, 1 in Edo and 1 in Kano.
As of Friday, September 18th, 2020 there are 56,956 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 48,305 patients have been discharged, with 1,094 deaths.
