Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 653 New Cases In Nigeria; 115 In Lagos, 85 In Kwara, 80 In Enugu, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed six hundred and fifty three (653) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 653 coronavirus cases in the country, 115 in Lagos, 85 in Kwara, 80 in Enugu, 78 in the FCT, 36 in Rivers, 35 in Ondo, 30 in Oyo, 28 in Katsina, 19 in Kaduna, 19 in Abia, 18 in Nasarawa, 17 in Plateau, 16 in Imo, 9 in Ogun, 9 in Ebonyi, 9 in Benue, 9 in Kano, 8 in Delta, 7 in Bauchi, 6 in Ekiti, 4 in Gombe, 4 in Bayelsa, 4 in Adamawa, 4 in Osun, 1 in Cross River, 1 in Yobe, 1 in Borno and 1 in Zamfara.
As of Saturday, July 18th, 2020, there are 36,107 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 14,938 patients have been discharged, with 778 deaths.
