Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 417 New Cases In Nigeria; 207 In Lagos, 44 In Kaduna, 38 In Ondo, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed four hundred and seventeen (417) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 417 coronavirus cases in the country, 207 were recorded in Lagos, 44 in Kaduna, 38 in Ondo, 28 in Abia, 21 in Anambra, 20 in Plateau, 13 in Bauchi, 9 in Oyo, 9 in Ebonyi, 7 in Delta, 7 in Edo, 6 in Enugu, 3 in Niger, 2 in Gombe, 1 in Ogun, 1 in the FCT and 1 in Kano.
As of Monday, August 17th, 2020 there are 49,485 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 36,834 patients have been discharged, with 977 deaths.
