Lagos State Ministry of Health said that the state recorded three more coronavirus (COVID-19) deaths on Friday, April 17th, 2020, bringing the total number of deaths recorded in Lagos to thirteen (13).

The deceased are two males and one female; aged 52, 63 and 67. Two of the dead patients had underlying health issues.

The two males had no travel history or record of contact with any infected person. On the other hand, the female was suspected to have had contact with an infected person who recently returned to Nigeria from abroad.
