Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 212 New Cases In Nigeria; 85 In Lagos, 72 In Oyo, 21 In FCT, Others

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed two hundred and twelve (212) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 212 coronavirus cases in the country, 85 were recorded in Lagos, 72 in Oyo, 21 in the FCT, 11 in Ogun, 11 in Plateau, 6 in Katsina, 5 in Kaduna and 1 in Osun.
As of Friday, October 16th, 2020 there are 61,194 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 52,304 patients have been discharged, with 1,119 deaths.
