Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 126 New Cases In Nigeria; 7 In FCT, 27 In Lagos, 16 In Plateau, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and twenty six (126) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 126 coronavirus cases in the country, 37 were reported in FCT, 27 in Lagos, 16 in Plateau, 9 in Kaduna, 7 in Abia, 6 in Gombe, 6 in Ondo, 5 in Imo, 2 in Delta, 2 in Ekiti, 2 in Kwara, 2 in Oyo, 1 in Bauchi, 1 in Kano, 1 in Katsina-1, 1 in Ogun and 1 in Yobe.
As of Wednesday, September 16th, 2020 there are 56,604 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 47,872 patients have been discharged, with 1,091 deaths.
