Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 298 New Cases In Nigeria; 108 In Plateau, 49 In Kaduna, 47 In Lagos, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed two hundred and ninety eight (298) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 298 coronavirus cases in the country, 108 in Plateau, 49 in Kaduna, 47 in Lagos, 18 in Ogun, 17 in Osun, 15 in the FCT, 14 in Ondo, 8 in Edo, 6 in Oyo, 4 in Akwa Ibom, 4 in Cross River, 3 in Borno, 2 in Ekiti, 1 in Bauchi, 1 in Kano and 1 in Rivers.
As of Sunday, August 16th, 2020, there are 49,068 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 36,497 patients have been discharged, with 975 deaths.
