Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 595 New Cases In Nigeria; 156 In Lagos, 95 In Ondo, 53 In Rivers, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed five hundred and ninety five (595) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 595 coronavirus cases in the country, 156 in Lagos, 95 in Ondo, 53 in Rivers, 43 in Abia, 38 in Oyo, 29 in Enugu, 24 in Edo, 23 in the FCT, 20 in Kaduna, 17 in Akwa Ibom, 17 in Anambra, 17 in Osun, 14 in Ogun, 13 in Kano, 11 in Imo, 6 in Delta, 5 in Ekiti, 4 in Gombe, 4 in Plateau, 2 in Cross River, 1 in Adamawa, 1 in 1 in Bauchi, 1 in Jigawa and 1 in Yobe.
As of Thursday, July 16th, 2020, there are 34,854 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 14,292 patients have been discharged, with 769 deaths.
