Coronavirus: Lagos Discharges Five Patients
The Lagos State Ministry of Health said it has discharged five more patients who were receiving treatment at isolation centres in the state.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, disclosed this in a tweet on Friday, April 17th, 2020.
He said that with the five newly-discharged cases, the total number of coronavirus patients who have recovered in the state becomes ninety (90).
He also reaffirmed that the state recorded nineteen (19) confirmed cases on Thursday, April 16th.
Recall that Flavision reported that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed that nineteen (19) of the thirty five (35) newly-confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were recorded in Lagos State.
Abayomi tweeted,
19 new confirmed cases of #COVID-19 Infection recorded in Lagos on the 16th of April. This brings the total number of confirmed Lagos #COVID-19 cases to 254.
Five fully recovered #COVID-19 patients were discharged. Total discharged #COVID-19 patients are now 90.
