Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 179 New Cases In Nigeria; 116 In Lagos, 20 In Anambra, 9 In FCT, Others

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and seventy nine (179) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 179 coronavirus cases in the country, 116 wee reported in Lagos, 20 in Anambra, 9 in the FCT, 9 in Oyo, 9 in Rivers, 3 in Delta, 3 in Nasarawa, 2 in Edo, 2 in Kaduna, 2 in Ogun, 2 in Plateau, 1 in Ekiti and 1 in Osun.
As of Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 there are 60,834 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 52,143 patients have been discharged, with 1,116 deaths.
