Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 193 New Cases In Nigeria; 58 In Lagos, 46 In Kano, 35 In Jigawa, Others

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and ninety three (193) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed coronavirus cases in the country, 58 were recorded in Lagos, 46 in Kano, 35 in Jigawa, 12 in Yobe, 9 in the FCT, 7 in Ogun, 5 in Plateau, 5 in Gombe, 4 in Imo, 3 in Edo, 3 in Kwara, 3 in Borno, 1 in Bauchi, 1 in Nasarawa and 1 in Ondo.
As of Thursday, May 14th, 2020, there are a total of 5162 confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases reported in Nigeria. 1180 patients have been discharged, with 167 deaths.
The NCDC disclosed this on Thursday, May 14th, 2020, via its official Twitter handle, @NCDCgov.
