Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 79 New Cases In Nigeria; 30 In Lagos, 17 In Kaduna, 7 In Ogun, Others

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed seventy nine (79) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 79 coronavirus cases in the country, 30 were recorded in Lagos, 17 in Kaduna, 7 in Ogun, 5 in Anambra, 4 in Kano, 3 in Katsina, 3 in the FCT, 3 in Akwa Ibom, 2 in Oyo, 2 in Rivers, 1 in Delta, 1 in Plateau and 1 in Ondo.
As of Sunday, September 13th, 2020 there are 56,256 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 44,152 patients have been discharged, with 1,082 deaths.
