Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 164 New Cases In Nigeria; 64 In Lagos, 26 In FCT, 20 In Enugu, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and sixty four (164) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 164 coronavirus cases in the country, 64 were reported in Lagos, 26 in the FCT, 20 in Enugu, 11 in Kaduna, 11 in Oyo, 8 in Plateau, 7 in Ondo, 4 in Anambra, 3 in Nasarawa,3 in Osun, 2 in Ebonyi, 2 in Imo, 1 in Benue, 1 in Katsina and 1 in Ogun.
As of Monday, October 12th, 2020 there are 60,430 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 51,943 patients have been discharged, with 1,115 deaths.
