Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 453 New Cases In Nigeria; 113 In Lagos, 72 In FCT, 59 In Plateau, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed four hundred and fifty three (453) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 453 coronavirus cases in the country, 113 in Lagos, 72 in the FCT, 59 in Plateau, 55 in Enugu, 38 in Kaduna, 32 in Ondo, 26 in Osun, 20 in Ebonyi, 9 in Ogun, 8 in Delta, 7 in Borno, 6 in Akwa Ibom, 5 in Oyo, 1 in Bauchi, 1 in Kano and 1 in Ekiti.
As of Wednesday, August 12th, 2020 there are 47,743 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 33,943 patients have been discharged, with 956 deaths.
