Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 176 New Cases In Nigeria; 40 In FCT, 34 In Lagos, 26 In Plateau, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed one hundred and seventy six (176) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 176 coronavirus cases in the country, 40 were recorded in the FCT, 34 in Lagos, 26 in Plateau, 14 in Enugu, 12 in Delta, 12 in Ogun, 9 in Ondo, 8 in Oyo, 6 in Ekiti, 4 in Ebonyi, 2 in Adamawa, 2 in Nasarawa, 2 in Kwara, 2 in Rivers, 1 in Edo, 1 in Osun and 1 in Bauchi.
As of Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 there are 55,632 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 43,610 patients have been discharged, with 1,070 deaths.
