Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 437 New Cases In Nigeria; 107 In Lagos, 91 In FCT, 81 In Plateau, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed four hundred and thirty seven (437) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 437 coronavirus cases in the country, 107 in Lagos, 91 in the FCT, 81 in Plateau, 32 in Kaduna, 30 in Ogun, 24 in Kwara, 19 in Ebonyi, 17 in Ekiti, 8 in Oyo, 6 in Borno, 6 in Edo, 4 in Kano, 3 in Nasarawa, 3 in Osun, 3 in Taraba, 2 in Gombe and 1 in Bauchi.
As of Sunday, August 9th, 2020 there are 46,577 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 33,186 patients have been discharged, with 945 deaths.
